Sr Sheila McCreanor

Sheila McCreanor from the South Australian Province served as a member of the Congregational Leadership Team from 2002-2008.

At the 25th General Chapter in October 2007 she was elected for a further six year term. This was a recognition by the delegates that some continuity in leadership was appropriate at this time.

In reflecting on her role, Sheila said, “The call to this ministry is a challenge which I have accepted after much prayer and discernment.  I am excited and honoured to work with Anne Derwin and the new team as we follow up the directions of our Chapter.”

When time permits (often when travelling or waiting for planes) Sheila hopes to continue her research and publication of the letters of Mary MacKillop.  The current project with the working title of Mary MacKillop goes to New Zealand is well on the way.
