Who we are...

CONGREGATIONAL LEADERSHIP TEAM 2008 - 2013

Sr Eileen Lenihan, Sr Ann Gilroy, Sr Anne Derwin, Sr Sheila McCreanor, Sr Annette Arnold.

 

The Congregational Leader and her Council of four Sisters, known as the Congregational Leadership Team, were elected for a term of six years at the 2007 Chapter - the formal gathering of elected representatives from the Provinces and Region.

The CLT appoints a Provincial leader to each of the six provinces. Each of these Provincials is assisted by a team of four councillors, who are both elected and appointed from within their Province.

The CLT appoints a Regional leader in Ireland and Peru. They also are assisted by councillors.

Together we are a community of leaders within the Congregation. Our charter for leadership comes from our Constitutions and our 2007 Chapter Document.

 

 

THERE IS A VISION OF THE APPOINTED TIME…
…WAIT FOR IT…
…IT WILL SURELY COME…

We are summoned, as Mary MacKillop and Julian Tenison Woods were, to set out on new pathways.

We are called afresh to explore mission and identity as consecrated women religious.

We are called to right relationship.

We are called to structure our Congregation in new ways in order to walk with those most in need of God's justice and hospitality.

We are summoned by this Chapter to recognise God's future coming to meet us in the new life within.
