Making Poverty History

The Josephites have joined the world wide movement to
'Make Poverty History'.
This reflects our chapter directive to
"relieve suffering and bring hope”.
Our special emphasis is to relieve child poverty in New Zealand.

What are we doing?
- Learning about real poverty in the world
- Advocating for the relief of child poverty in our country
- Distributing white arm bands
- Contributing to appeals, especially those directed towards eliminating poverty
- Supporting the “Beautiful Daughters” project
- Joining with local groups who support the world-wide movement
- "To do what we can, wherever we can.."
TAKE ACTION with all those in various places in our world!!
