Vision for the Queensland Province

With the power of Jesus and in the Spirit of Mary MacKillop, we accept joyfully and wholeheartedly our call to Josephite Living.

Strengthened by mutual support, we endeavour at all times to be a voice for the voiceless - the poor and needy, the abandoned and those in distress.

In schools, we value our dedication to the education and protection of our children.

As Parish workers, and Pastoral Carers, we share the beauty and comfort that our faith gives to us.

In prisons and detention camps, we offer the hand of friendship and support to those in need, upholding always the principles of true justice.

Australia is becoming one of the major multi-cultural, multi-racial societies of the world.  We accept the responsibility to further the richness of this mixture by our acceptance and sense of identity with our own indigenous people, with refugees and asylum seekers.

Strengthened by our loving and provident God, we consistently reach out to others by our prayer and by our presence and in turn are enriched by their presence in our lives.
