Sisters of St Joseph

Di holds a Diploma of Teaching - Primary, Grad. Dip. In Religious Studies, Bachelor of Education and a Master of Arts - Religious Education.

While in ministry in the western parts of the Toowoomba diocese, Di encountered families living in small communities, and on properties, where assistance was needed for the preparation of children for the first reception of the sacraments. To resource these families she authored a First Reconciliation program and Confirmation and First Communion program called Mary of the Southern Cross Sacramental Programs. Since their introduction familes and communities in Queensland and New South Wales, have used the programs with individual children and in cluster groups.
