Marion Gambin, Province Leader.

Marion was born in London and in 1966 migrated with her family to Australia.

Marion entered the Josephites in New South Wales and has had extensive experience in education as well as in other areas of ministry.

She has now generously accepted the call to be Province Leader for the South Australian Province.

 

Ursula Hoile

Ursula has been a sister of St Joseph since 1964. In her earlier years she taught primary students in both city and country schools.

In 1981 Ursula answered the call to be one of the founding community of Josephtes to work in Peru.

Soon after her return to Australia, she was elected onto the Provincial Leadership Team.

Angela Mahar

Angela comes from a rural background, growing up on the Yorke Peninsula in SA.

Throughout her Josephite life, Angela has had a strong commitment to rural communities and much of her ministry has been in this area.

 

 

Mary Mercer

Mary's entire Religious Life has been dedicated to education. She has taught in many schools and has held leadership positions within many of them.

She has contributed significantly to Catholic education in South Australia by serving on a variety of boards and committees.

 

Loreto O'Connor

Like most Sisters of St joseph of that time, Loreto commenced her ministry in education. She taught primary students in both country and city schools.

Since 1984 Loreto has been involved in the education of young people with disabilities.
