Jubilee Celebrations - Golden Jubilees

On Saturday, 23rd February, six Sisters of St Joseph celebrated their Golden Jubilee at St Mary's Church, Maidstone.

The main celebrant was Archbishop Denis Hart, assisted by Archbishop Frank Little and several priests.

The celebrating Jubilarians were :

Srs. Jeanne Dwyer, Giovanni Farquer, Vendremina Puiatti, Patricia Maher, Helen Reed and Joan Toole. Sr. Audrey Thomson was not able to be present having returned to her mission in Scotland.

A large number of relatives, friends and Sisters attended and they concluded the celebration at 501 Barkly Street, Footscray where they enjoyed refreshments and each others company.
