SA Josephites Join in Prayer
On the eve of the National Apology to be given by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, a number of Josephites from South Australia gathered in the Kensington Convent Chapel to welcome the promise of an apology to the stolen generations and to ask God's blessing on this historical occasion.
The reflection prepared by Helen Duke brought together reflections from Sir William Dean, the Catholic Bishops, Katrina Brill, Pope John Paul 11 and Fr Frank Brennan.

In prayer and song we acknowledged our part in the past wrongs and prayed for healing and forgiveness. Each of us added a candle as a sign of our personal commitment to reconciliation to the beautiful focus prepared by Shirley O'Loghlen.
