Josephite Justice Network Meeting

The JJN met on the weekend of 14th – 16th November at Mary MacKillop Place in North Sydney.

Representatives of each of the Provinces and a number of the Federation Congregations heard Graeme Mundine, the Executive Secretary of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ecumenical Council, speak to us about various Aboriginal issues.

Members then began the task of setting the theme for 2009 and instead of taking on a new theme decided that it would be good to go back and revisit some of the themes of recent years and see where we are with some of those issues.

It is proposed that, under the banner of “Keep the Momentum Going” , we send out a series of faxes next year which will look at the topics of
