Devotions

The Josephite charism brings a particular flavour to the church's rich prayer and devotional tradition. Our Constitution names that Mary the Mother of God, Joseph her husband and John the Baptist, are our models for faithful service in the name of Christ. These three patrons are symbolised in our emblem - the badge that identifies a Josephite Sister.

We like Mary ponder the Word of God with a listening heart so that with
great loyalty and trust we can nurture the incarnate Jesus in our daily
lives.

We strive to imitate the humility of Joseph by standing for the truth with
courage and faith in our ministry.

We regularly ponder the Word of God and form a personal relationship with Christ that flows from our daily Mass into devotion to the Blessed
Sacrament.

The cross personifies for us the compassionate love of Christ that is also
called the Sacred Heart. We are happy to offer the daily sacrifice of our
lives each day in loving service of our God who suffered and died to
liberate oppression and injustice in our world.
