Caring for the Aged

Josephite Aged Care Services provide physical, emotional and spiritual support to the frail aged and those who require extended care.

This care is inspired by the gospel and the lived tradition of Mary MacKillop. It is our aim to deliver holistic care according to individual needs, keeping in mind the dignity of each person. We are particularly concerned with those who are poor and isolated in our communities.

We offer support to families, communities and colleagues in their challenging roles as carers. The physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of our residents are consistently at the forefront of our planning, decisions and action. These underpin a spirit of joyful, loving service and care which endeavours to respect the dignity and foster the independence of each person.

Sisters of St Joseph along with other men and women are cared for in these facilities, and many Sisters continue their ministry of revealing the hospitable heart of God to everyone around them. These Sisters of St Joseph work as administrators, nurses, carers, pastoral care workers, chaplains and Board Directors for our aged cared services.
