Sisters of St Joseph Congregational Leadership Team-Elect Announced

On 20 November 2013 at St Joseph's Baulkham Hills at their 26th General Chapter, the following Sisters were elected to leadership of the Josephite Congregation:
Sister Monica Cavanagh - Congregational Leader and members of her Council: Sisters Catherine Shelton, Marion Gambin, Louise Reeves, Maryellen Thomas.

Sr Monica comes from Queensland and Sister Catherine from Whanganui in Aotearoa New Zealand. Sr Marion, although from New South Wales, is finishing her term as the CentreWest (SA and WA) Regional Leader. Sister Louise comes from New South Wales and Sr Maryellen comes from South Australia.

The team will move to the Congregational headquarters at Mary MacKillop Place North Sydney to take up office on 1 March 2014. During their six year term they will visit the Sisters in their places of living and ministry across Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, East Timor, Peru, Brazil, Ireland and Scotland.
