Responding Together

Over the past 150 days, we have listened deeply, built relationships, shared stories, and acted together through our A Home for Every Neighbour campaign. From conversations in schools and communities, to meetings with decision-makers and community actions across the country, this campaign has been a powerful reminder that lasting change begins when people come together.

As we reach the end of this journey, we warmly invite you to join us as we celebrate what we have achieved together, reflect on the impact of our collective efforts, and look ahead to the work that still lies before us.

The details for our Closing Ceremony are below:

  • When: Thursday 27 August 2026
  • Time: 2:00pm-3:00pm (followed by afternoon tea)
  • Where: Mary MacKillop Memorial Chapel, 7-11 Mount St, North Sydney 2060 and online
  • RSVP: Friday 21 August – click here

If you are unable to attend in person, you are warmly welcome to join us via livestream, ensuring everyone can be part this special occasion wherever they are.

Together we will honour the many individuals, schools, communities, and organisations who have contributed to this campaign and celebrate the hope we have built through our shared commitment to ensuring every person has a place to call home.

Whether you participated in one action or many, your contribution has mattered. We would love for you to join us as we mark this significant milestone together.

An invitation flyer with a QR and link has been shared below for you to share with your communities and contacts.

We look forward to celebrating with you.
