Annually, Homelessness Australia hosts Homelessness Week “to build community support and government commitment to end homelessness”.

In 2025, Homelessness Week is held from Monday 4 August until Sunday 10 August, with the theme being ‘Homelessness Action Now’.

To commemorate Homelessness Week 2025, we share a radio recording of an interview that students from Josephite School, Mary MacKillop College, Nundah (Queensland) did with ABC Brisbane for their program Brisbane Breakfast. The students spoke about homelessness, advocacy, awareness and what they’re doing to help.
