As the Spirituality Ministry of the Sisters of Saint Joseph enters a new chapter, they have endeavoured to diversify, broaden and increase their offerings for 2025.
They are delighted to be offering these reflection days, retreats and sabbaticals as opportunities to nurture one’s spirit. These programs are an invitation to all to encounter the sacred in their lives.

This Colloquium places the Tasmanian Josephite story within the context of the Universe story, salvation history and the founding story of Saint Mary MacKillop and Father Julian Tenison Woods.

We welcome participants from schools and colleges (teachers, administrative staff, Board members) as well as our Associates and co-workers in other Josephite ministries.

Each year the Colloquium takes place over two days at the Josephite Mission and History Centre, 67 Clare Street, New Town (March 5,6 2020)  followed some months later by a one-day pilgrimage to the lower midlands of Tasmania. (October 16, 2020)  Here, pilgrims walk in the footsteps of Father Julian, who ministered in this area in the early 1870’s, and the early sisters who established schools in Oatlands, Tunnack and Colebrook.
